Position Overview

KeyCare is a national virtual care company built natively on Epic. This role owns prospects from first conversation through signed contract, then stays accountable to the relationship as it expands. This role is primarily focused on health plan / payer partnerships, with additional selling opportunities across health systems and other market segments as they arise.

This is a foundational individual contributor role on a growing partnerships team. Quota, territory, and team structure will be established as the go-to-market motion matures, which means candidates who've built pipeline from scratch in an emerging territory will thrive here. You will report directly to the VP of Partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Own prospects from first conversation through signed contract, then stay accountable to the relationship as it expands, including account health, issue resolution, and expansion opportunities post-close.
  • Drive new business development primarily focused on health plan / payer partnerships, with additional selling opportunities across health systems and other market segments as they arise.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective health plan payers and digital technology solution partners through outbound prospecting, industry events, and networking.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that articulate the value of KeyCare's Epic-integrated virtual care platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Customer Success, Partnerships, Operations, Finance, and Clinical leadership, to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Stay current on healthcare industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain an account plan and forecast for key accounts, and represent account status in periodic business reviews with internal and partner-facing leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including 2+ years selling into health plans/payers, health systems, or IDNs, with a personal track record of closing six-figure enterprise deals.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a foundational or early-stage go-to-market motion.
  • Experience building pipeline from scratch in an emerging or evolving territory.
  • Strong understanding of the health plan / payer ecosystem and the challenges they face regarding virtual care and digital transformation, including working knowledge of payer economics and value-based care mechanics (e.g., medical loss ratio, risk-based/value-based contracting, network adequacy, HEDIS/Star ratings, utilization management).
  • Experience selling into C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a complex, long-cycle sales process.
  • Familiarity with Epic — how health plans and health systems buy it, govern additions to it, and think about workflow; existing relationships inside Epic-affiliated organizations are a strong plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ($130,000 - $150,000) plus commissions for closed sales, as outlined in the sales comp plan.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Life insurance and disability coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • Remote-first work culture.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Opportunities for career growth and professional development in a rapidly expanding healthcare tech company.

Travel Requirements

While this is a remote role, travel will be required. This role may require at least 30% nationwide travel to meet with prospective and existing partners, attend industry events, and support relationship development.
