Position Overview:

The Vice President, Health Systems plays a pivotal role in driving KeyCare's market expansion within health systems. This role demands a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, a proven track record in business development, and a keen ability to build and cultivate enduring relationships. driving the expansion of KeyCare’s market presence by developing and executing comprehensive strategies to secure partnerships with health systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at health systems, leading sales efforts, and achieving aggressive revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners to ensure new growth of $MM in first year with revenue goals being re-established annually.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate and expand within target health systems to deploy a one-year road map of virtual care opportunities for long term client value.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at health systems, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure scope, requirements and client details are captured effectively to shorten cycle times for implementation and support successful go live of new clients.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and financial services leaders to drive adoption of the product enabling them to optimize virtual care access through diverse channels.  
  • Negotiate and finalize contract terms, pricing, and service-level agreements to establish mutually beneficial partnerships and successful implementation.

Revenue Generation:

  • Achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets through effective sales execution and account management.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions based on standard solution offering and pricing packages.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue from existing clients.

Market Expansion:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand KeyCare's presence in new geographic regions or market segments.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent KeyCare at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility, generate new business opportunities, and maintain a strong market presence.

Internal Collaboration and Strategic Alignment:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product, marketing, finance, and clinical teams, to develop and implement corporate strategies to drive commercial success for KeyCare.
  • Proactively identify and address client concerns to foster long-term partnerships – effective hand off relationship to implementation and client success for long term client success.
  • Proactively capture, share and collaborate with product teams to share client feedback to identify, evaluate, and prioritize new features/functionality to bring value and drive product improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of experience selling to notable enterprise healthcare customers (large hospitals and health systems) in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong focus on prioritization, and a focus on tactical integration and measurable results.  
  • Track record of personally closing six-figure deals.  
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, with a strong preference for experience with Epic clients.
  • Experience selling to and working with Epic clients strongly preferred.  
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales processes and build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Experience creating and managing enterprise contracts and pricing.  
  • Experience selling telehealth and/or automation technologies and services strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset and proficiency in CRM tracking, reporting and Excel. Knowledge of HubSpot preferred.  
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take on new challenges.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or HealthCare related fields
