Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Telehealth Physicians to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Telehealth Physician for KeyCare Medical Group, you will provide remote medical care and consultation to patients on the Epic EHR (full or part-time positions available). At KeyCare, we are building a truly integrated telehealth solution that augments and extends the care of our partnered health systems. You will enjoy the ability to view relevant clinical information and background on the patients you serve through Epic’s Care Everywhere solution. Your role in delivering healthcare services to individuals across various locations, will have an unparalleled impact on ensuring accessibility and achieving high quality clinical results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct remote consultations with patients to assess their medical concerns, provide diagnosis, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  2. Review patients' medical histories, symptoms, and diagnostic test results to accurately diagnose medical conditions.
  3. Prescribe medication, recommend appropriate therapies, and provide guidance on lifestyle modifications to promote optimal health outcomes.
  4. Utilize telecommunication technologies and electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
  5. Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures through virtual consultations.
  6. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards governing telemedicine practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in telehealth technology, medical research, and best practices to enhance the delivery of remote healthcare services.

Qualifications:

     
  1. At least five years of experience practicing medicine in a clinical setting, with a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine and clinical decision-making.
  2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly and compassionately to patients.
  3. Proficiency in using telecommunication platforms and EHR systems for virtual consultations and medical documentation.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients remotely, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  5. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  7. Flexibility to adapt to changing technology, healthcare policies, and patient needs in a dynamic telehealth environment.
  8. Dedication to ongoing learning and professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of emerging trends in telemedicine.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  1. Medical degree from an accredited medical school and valid state medical licenses in at least three of the following states: PA, FL, WI, MN, NC, SC, IL.
  2. Board certification in a primary care.
