Position Overview:
The Strategic Account Director is a critical role in driving KeyCare's growth and success. This individual will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with key health system accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer success. By leveraging data-driven insights and a consultative approach, the Director will identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand our footprint and deliver exceptional value. Success in this role requires deep healthcare industry knowledge, a strong track record with health systems, and exceptional relationship-building skills to foster enduring partnerships and maximize client impact.

Customer Success:
- Consistently meets or exceeds sales quota by driving increased utilization of virtual health services and closing expansion opportunities quarterly at a minimum.
- Execute a comprehensive customer-led growth strategy focused on profiling, discovery, and data driven insights to optimize utilization of KeyCare’s virtual health services within current clients.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve client satisfaction and utilization.
- Conduct quarterly client business reviews to review performance against baseline as well as proactively identify opportunities for improved utilization and expansion opportunities.
Customer Expansion and Growth:
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve client satisfaction and utilization.
- Create and execute detailed account plans for each health system that maximize value realization and identifies upsell/cross-sell opportunities aligned with client goals.
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders at assigned health systems to ensure support, identify emerging needs, and secure buy-in for KeyCare's expanding solutions.
- Expertly navigate the use of KeyCare’s CRM to effectively nurture relationships, track expansion opportunities, and streamline the sales process for deal conversion.
- Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities, using a consultative sales approach to address complex client needs and maximize revenue.
- Develop and execute persuasive proposals that highlight the value proposition of our solutions.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions to maximize revenue and profitability.
Internal Collaboration and Strategic Alignment:
- Develop a regular feedback mechanism to gather customer insights and address concerns proactively creating a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive cross-functional initiatives that maximize utilization and drive client retention.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, advocating for their needs and providing valuable feedback.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify emerging opportunities.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in client success and strategic account management roles in health systems.
- Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships working with leaders and executives across clinical, technology, operational, and financial realms.
- Proven track record in strategic account management within health systems, with the ability to drive growth through consultative selling, cross-selling, and relationship-building at senior levels.
- Demonstrated success in executing complex, multi-stakeholder sales strategies in matrixed environments, with the ability to effectively influence decision-makers across clinical, operational, and executive levels.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including health systems, payors, employers, and health plans.
- Proven experience working with health systems who use Epic’s EHR. Demonstrates a strong understanding of Epic EHR functionalities and workflows in a health system. Direct experience working with Epic is a plus.
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset with a strong understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree in business or relevant area a plus.
Travel Requirements
Travel required for key client meetings and staff retreats – up to 50%
