Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL. This role is crucial in helping shape the culture, growth, and operational efficiency of our company. The HR Manager will manage the full range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance, all while driving initiatives to foster a positive work environment. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing healthcare technology company and make a meaningful impact in the health tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Retention:
-Lead recruitment efforts for various roles within the organization, focusing on attracting top talent aligned with our mission.
-Develop and maintain talent pipelines, including outreach to healthcare and tech industry professionals.
-Enhance retention strategies through employee engagement, recognition, and professional development programs.
Performance Management:
-Oversee performance management processes, including annual reviews, development plans, and goal setting.
-Provide guidance and support to managers in coaching and developing their teams.
Employee Relations:
-Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving issues in a professional, supportive, and legally compliant manner.
-Build and maintain a positive company culture that aligns with our core values and mission.
Benefits and Compensation:
-Manage benefits administration and work with external vendors to ensure competitive and comprehensive offerings.
-Conduct market research to ensure compensation packages are competitive in the healthcare technology industry.
Compliance and Risk Management:
-Ensure the organization complies with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
-Stay updated on HR best practices and changing regulations, including labor laws and data privacy guidelines.
HR Strategy and Policy Development:
-Develop and implement HR policies that support business objectives.
-Collaborate with leadership on organizational development strategies and HR best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, preferably within the healthcare or technology industries.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, laws, and regulations.
- Experience with talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, and preference for HR certification
